Shopping Spree!~

5 November 2010

Firstly, I would like to wish a very happy Deepavali to everyone of my friends, readers and family's as well.

Convocation is at the edge of this week and it's that chance you have again to ask your parents for money to shop, shop and SHOP! So on this day, with the excuse that we need things for the upcoming convocation, Vincent & family.... & I have decided to drop by Times Square n Sg. Wang for shopping^^

Upon arrival in Times Square, there was a performance by 2 indian girls. Dressed in their traditional indian clothing, they performed a stunning, energetic and entertaining traditional indian dance.

After the performance, indian songs were played continuously as it was Deepavali. It was then I came across a foreign family, whereby the Dad, was happily enjoying the rhythm of the song and at the same time, dancing in the open without a care in the world. His young daughter, stood alongside him and tried to shake a lil as well^^

Looking further into the mall, preparations for upcoming Christmas can also be seen. Colorful candy looking houses were halfway erected in the center of the shops, with scaffoldings still beside them.

Moving on, we shopped, shopped and shopped. But all was a failure as we couldn't find what we aimed for. Until we came across the unexpected Matsuda, selling only men's wear. We walked into the shop and tried various collared shirts, along with slacks, belts and also vests. Having so many great choices to choose from, it surely was a hard choice for Vincent to choose only 1 set. In the end, he settled for the new look, which is the whole set along with the vest. As for the shoes, let's just say we couldn't find the perfect pair with the perfect price anywhere in the mall.

I on the other hand, ended up shopping for mostly things that are non linked to the upcoming convocation. It was all, I see, I like, I buy. And later it was all I regret. Later on, Vince's parents left for home as they were hungry, leaving us with no car to head back. So as not to cramp along with every other citizen in Malaysia in the RapidKL train, we decided to eat dinner first at Kenny Rogers, a place which I had not dined in for almost a million years XD

After finishing the meal, we shopped even more but due to lack of sleep and also time for digestion, I was near collapsing to sleep. At the same time, my heels were killing me already. So it was time to head home...

Traffic when we're heading home

A day/night at college

It's like any other day, going to college and rushing for our trailer/finals, just that this is the day I somehow so happen to have brought my cam along and also, my first time going to Murni in Taipan with Spannar for dinner.

This place serves food which is a lil more than a mamak, like William's. The place is alot cleaner, organized and also bigger than a mamak's too. With great service and great staff to serve us with good manners. I do feel pity though, for the staff that served us, cz he lost his phone and was trying to find it when we came along and he had to take our orders.

Amir & Shaun's same waiting pose==

The food I ordered, Spaghetti Bolognaise i think...

Time to Eat~ ^^ Ma Speghetti

Apologize for the Blurness~ But yea, Vince n me

Later on we went back to college and stayed on. By 12.30am, most of Spannar members have left for home. Only Me n Shereendar from Bus Squeeze and Calvin and Vince from Spannar remained all the way till near 3am... O.o! With a lot of stress and sleepiness, we faced the rush hour for both our trailers.

Shereendar working on her part of the Buz Squeeze trailer

Shereendar in her stress & tired period later on

Calvin, also working on his upcoming trailer/teaser/reveal...
LOL! and having fun at the same time.

Calvin's crazy amount of notes for his renders for the trailer
Also the most planned notes I've even seen since I stepped into TOA O.o

And as for Vince,
well we can say he was having fun travelling amongst 3 comps for his work
*rolls* *rolls* *rolls*
That explains why most of the rolling chairs in the lab broke off their wheels

A shot of Shereendar and me together...

After another few more hours of working on the comp, expressions on our faces started to change... Cept CALVIN of course, whose facial expression practically doesn't change at all XD

Vince & Calvin STILL working on the trailer,
through the lecturer's comp XD

And as for Shereendar...
Well, let's just say she has already 0% of energy left in her
She even needed a bottle to hold her head up to face the comp
Poor thing can't go home cuz Calvin's not leaving yet

But by 3am plus, Calvin & Shereendar left for home, leaving just me & Vince, to a bunch of noisy gang who brought in outsiders into the college to stay over with her. I have no idea who she is, but she sure loved to curse with the word "Fuck" to the point one of her friends saw my "dulan" facial expression as I stared at her and he quickly asked her to quiet down.

Me with a dying face at... 4am plus

Finally, me & my darling Vincent before we left college at approx. 5.30am
And when we reached Vince's place, SUNRISE!!!

Art Classes Ahoy!

2 months ago, I had started a children's art class at my Aunt's tuition room in Ampang with Vincent, which fortunately, started off with 6 students aged from 7 - 12. When these kids came in, I really would have to say, there's a lot of teach these kids *nods head*
Before I had any classes started, I had given my aunt a poster to hang in the room. In which so the kids can tell and ask their parents for permission if interested. This was the poster I initially have given out:

Before, my fees charged was RM90 without the parents

needing to preparing anything cept the basic art materials.

Parents in the end had to complain that the place was quite
secluded, so should charge a lil less.. Which a lil less
was practically I'm not gettin much anymore==
Anyway, class successfully started after like killing off 15 bucks == I started off with 4 then 2 more came in which was 11 and 12. Sometimes, my cousin, who is currently studying in Saito in Multimedia, would join in. And while teaching the smaller ones, I would give her assignments to do as the way I see things, Saito's not really doing a good job in their syllabus. I mean, character designing even before learning the basic proportions of the human FACE (not even body yet).

But yea, on my very first class, I had them introduce themselves through this :

By drawing what they like and how they portray themselves, I can not only know them more, but also get to see where their skills are at and at what level of drawing and coloring they are in.
